Can’t decide which printer you want to go with? Looking for affordability and most importantly, the kind of results you desire? If the answer is yes, then you’ve stumbled on the right blog!
First things first! Before getting a printer you need to decide what you’ll use the printer for; are you going to use it for office or simply for personal use at home? Is color printing a necessity or you’re fine with black and white print? Your work requires printing high quality images or just plain text documents? When you’re done figuring out the answers to the questions, take a look at the list of the five best printers that are currently booming in the market.
1 - HP Officejet Pro X576dW Multifunction Printer
Armed with the latest Inkjet technology called “PageWide”, this printer is able to print almost as fast as a Laserjet printer. For a hefty price of $850, this printer can be considered a good investment for a small business or a home with a high demand for printing. The Officejet is capable of printing both in color and black and white. The stunning printing results are enough to justify its price tag, but it is almost a crime to not mention that the cost per print is seemingly cheap. If you’re looking for a one time investment, then the Officejet is a productive multifunctional printer for all you printing needs!
2 - Epson Workforce Pro WP4530
If you're looking for an inkjet multi-function printer, it's probably more printer than you had in mind. Priced at $299.99, the Epson Workforce Pro WP4530 has set new standards in the industry due to its high quality printing coupled with its low ink consumption and laser class speed. Serviced by three paper trays, a duplexer, and Wi-Fi, the Epson Workforce Pro WP4530 is an ideal printer for everyone. The only drawback of this printer is its heavy size for an inkjet printer.
3 - HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One
A successor to the HP Photosmart 7510; for $149.99, it’s a good investment as a home printer, thanks to its features that allow it to act as a printer, scanner and a copier. The versatility of the HP Photosmart 7520, combined with its elegant matte finished exterior and a 4.33 inch color touch screen, makes it a top contender in our list. This 4.33 inch screen is not only used to control the printer’s operations, it allows the user to access the much prized HP ePrintCenter.
A major drawback in this model is that it does not offer an Ethernet connection port and only comes with Wi-Fi connectivity, which means there might be connectivity issues for those without a wireless router installed at home. The printer is a bit slow when it comes to comparison with its adversaries but it does cover up when it comes to the printing quality.
Keeping in mind the price and the features of this printer, it is a formidable option for all those looking for a good, quality home printer.
4 - Canon Pixma MX922
With the current price tag of around $200, the Pixma is the reigning flagship model by Canon and can justifiably be considered an all-in-one office printer. In essence, all the fundamental features of the MX522 (print, fax, scan, copy, print on discs, automatic document feeder, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi) have been incorporated in this model but there are still some upgraded and added features worth taking a look. Firstly, the printing quality has been increased to a level to considered top notch and can rival the very best printers available out there. Secondly, the printer introduces the much needed duplexer, thus allowing the user to print pages on both sides.
The only drawback we noticed is that the Canon Pixma MX922 is a bit slow; however, with the features it offers, it is a printer worthy in our top five lists.
5 - Canon Pixma MX522
At $149.99, the Canon Pixma MX552 is a printer that justifies the portability needed for a travel printer. With the persona of a cutting edge printing device, the Canon Pixma MX552 comes with a 2.5 inch color touch screen control panel. This printer is another all-in-one by Canon which can fax, scan and copy. This device also comes with a duplexer for multi-side printing. It also has the option print directly from a USB, an Ethernet connection or a Wi-Fi connection.
Pixma MX522 boasts an impressive feeder system as well, having the capacity of 100 pages in one tray. A pertinent feature is that the cost per print is a mere 13.8 cents for color pages. With all these features, the Canon Pixma MX552 is a worthy contender to be on the list for all of those who are looking to buy a top of the line printer, while keeping it light on the pocket.
