2. Make some changes to your habits. If possible, get rid of your unhealthy or expensive habits so you can stay in control of your life. Giving up smoking, eating too much junk food or any other unhealthy habits can take a lot of time but you can succeed by setting up goals and giving yourself enough time. Replace these old habits with new ones: you could for instance start working out regularly or find a new hobby you enjoy. Do not give up if you cannot get rid of your unhealthy habits right away. Keep in mind that getting rid of your bad habits is really in your best interest.
3. If you have trouble getting along with people, make an effort to be more friendly. Even if you do not really appreciate some coworkers or neighbors, being friendly and polite will make it easier for everyone to get along. Find people you have things in common with so you can have meaningful conversations and fun together but keep in mind that it is normal not to become good friends with everyone you meet. If you have trouble getting along with your relatives, make an effort to find things you have in common and perhaps share new activities together.
4. Take some time for yourself and do the things you love. Instead of watching TV or wasting your time on the Internet, you should find a constructive hobby that allows you to acquire new skills and accomplish yourself in your free time. This is especially important if you do not feel like your job is satisfying. No matter how busy you are, take at least an hour every day to relax and do things you really enjoy. If you are too busy to take a break, you should try relaxation techniques and learn how to manage your stress more efficiently. Once your stress levels are down, you will be able to take a break without feeling guilty, organize yourself better and work more efficiently.
